Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

Zephyr Staff is a trading name of AG ZEPHYR CREW LTD (HE 491003), a licensed Private Employment Agency in Cyprus (Licence No. 593, Department of Labour), registered at 14 Arch. Makariou Ave., Ypsonas, 4187 Limassol, Cyprus. We are the controller of your personal data.

2. Whose data we process

• Candidates: people looking for work through us.
• Clients: families, households and companies looking for staff.
• Website visitors who contact us through our forms.

3. What data we collect

Candidates: name, contact details, date of birth, nationality, CV and work history, education and qualifications, languages, references, availability and salary expectations, information you share during interviews, and copies of identity and residence documents needed to check your right to work in Cyprus. Where a work-permit application requires it, we may also handle medical certificates and criminal record certificates; we process these only for that application.

Clients: name, contact details, address, the requirements of the position, and information needed for the employment arrangement.

4. Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

• To find suitable jobs or candidates and present profiles to each other, based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To check a candidate's right to work and prepare permit applications, based on our legal obligations.
• To keep the records required by the Private Employment Agencies legislation, based on our legal obligations.
• To communicate with you about your application or request, based on our legitimate interest in running our services.

Sensitive data, such as health information, is processed only with your explicit consent or where the law requires it.

5. Who we share your data with

• Prospective employers (families and companies). We first share an anonymous profile; your name and contact details are shared only with your agreement.
• Partner services acting for clients, such as concierge services, on the same terms.
• Public authorities, such as the Migration Department, the Department of Labour and the Social Insurance Services, where the law requires it.
• Our service providers, such as website hosting and email, who process data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your data.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the USA. In that case we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep candidate data for 24 months from our last contact, unless you agree to remain in our database longer. Records we must keep by law are kept for the period the law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

You also have the right to complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.

9. Website

Our website does not use analytics or tracking cookies. Data you submit through our forms is sent to us by email and used only as described in this notice.
